Your mission

  • Keep an overview: Monitor and coordinate the presentation of all products to ensure brand merchandising and neatness meet our high standards.
  • Take responsibility: Own the selling process for the CAT brand within major retailers like Makro and Builders (Massmart/Walmart).
  • Rely on your expertise: Contribute your technical know-how of garden products and power tools to support stores with repairs and end-user queries.
  • Achieve more together: Play a key role in developing regional strategies with Key Account Managers (KAM) and implementing them timeously.
  • Be a trusted partner: Serve as a point of contact for independent customers, specifically calling on them to grow the Kress brand.
  • Get involved: Implement sell-out activities, including live demos, regional events, and customer workshops.
  • Teamwork matters: Contribute to the success of regional fairs and trade shows by engaging with both dealer staff and end users.
  • Bring your ideas to the table: Help shape and optimize the training of store salesmen to build stronger brand advocacy and relationships.
  • Get out and about: Actively manage your territory from Limpopo to Gauteng North and East
  • Support your partners: Provide consistent after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.

Your profile

  • Your experience: Proven background in sales, specifically calling on independent customers or big-box retailers.
  • Your mindset: You are a pioneer with a strong commercial sense and the ability to work independently across a large geographic scope.
  • Your technical skills: Deep familiarity with power tools and garden equipment to provide technical support and training.
  • Your connections: Ideally, you already have established relationships with stores and decision-makers in the region.
  • Language skills: Excellent English skills, complemented by a second South African language.
